Butterflies Before Winter

Yesterday morning was so cold that initially I though most of the butterflies would not appear. Suprisingly, it was not.... a number of butterflies appeared at noon and they seemed to be very hungrey. What special this time was that a few photos of "flying" butterflies were taken!! It's very interesting...

First Trial of Nikkor AF-S 300mm F4D - Part I

This's the first time I use the professional Nikkor lens - AF-S 300mm F4D to take pics. Actually, it's a great lens but hard to use well. The vibration is great owing to its long focal length after installing TC-14E II (i.e. over 600mm). The picture quality is not very good... Hope to have better handling of this lens after practice. The following are some pics:
