拾遺 ~ Picking the unpicked

I've, for a long long time, not used the Micro-Nikkor AF60mm F2.8D as well as the AF-S 300mm F4D (plus the TC-14E Telescopic Extender) to take photos... The good sunshine, slightly cold weather are good for photo-taking. Share with you some miscellaneous photo taken - especially a snapshot of the little girl at the park - she is very pretty indeed !!!

鎖事 ~ Something About Locks

How can the locks be used? For keeping secrets? For protecting someone from dangers? For binding somethings.....? We all know there are many many locks in our life and which is the most important one? By the way, the low light condition really can release the power of Zeiss - it's a main difference between a Japanese and a German lens....

Evening at TST...

Using the newly-procured Fisheye-Nikkor AF 16mm F2.8D and the old AF 18-35mm F3.5-4.5D. It seems that they are both difficult to handle under a full frame camera like D700. The picture composition is need to be seriously considered....

HK High-End Audio Visual Show 2009

Yesterday, I went to the captioned show afternoon with my friend. It was unexpectedly crowded with visitors.... I carried my D700 and AF85mm F1.4D and took the following photos for sharing with you alla; (i) a cross-over between the western style electronic guitar and chinese musical instrument; (ii) a brandnew high end product - a pair of loud speakers made of "glass" - it's really cool to have sight of this as; (iii) a live show of the Hong Kong Police Band at the main hall as a promotion for their newly issued album and (iv) two photos of a show model at MK Audio - by the way, their home threater show is indeed very very stunning...

Sky, Earth, Water, Plants, etc....( = Misc.??)

Today marks the 12th Anni. of setting up of HKSAR. What a hot day it is !!! (you know, both physically and politically) However, it is a good day for taking some photos of landscape. Share with you some of them. As I have processed the photos with the Koda Chrome Film curves, it seems that the outcomes are quite good and film-like.

W.E.I.R.D !!!

Really wierd today - in such a sunny day, at the very time when the butterflies rearch for foods, I can't find any of them... even after a long waiting, only one or two of them can be located: (1) Ypthima baldus (Common Five-ring) and (2) Hebomoia glaucippe (Great Orange Tip) (I find the name finally after extensive searching...).

Lepidoptera Insecta

Having found four types of Lepidoptera Insecta today:
(1) Parantica aglea (Glassy Tiger), (2) Parathyma sulpitia (Five-dot Sergeant), (3) Graphium sarpedon (common bluebottle), and (4) Euploea midamus (Blue-spotted Crow). Maybe it was really too hot (about 30 deg. cel.) today, I could not find many new types.
